It all started with a vision
Railway Cafe was all just a crazy idea, until it wasn't. You see Bassett, Va has a lot of history. Anyone can just drive through and see all the buildings that used to be the heart of our town, just sitting there, empty, some debilitated, and wonder what this town used to be like?
Well to briefly answer that question, Bassett was a booming little town! There were shops, restaurants, drug stores, a movie theater, and train depot just to name a few.
